An outdoor WebAR experience using VPS

​​​This prototype extends the story of Unlock the Library: Discoveries Inside into the real world.

​

Visitors are invited to explore three outdoor landmarks at the library: the Memorial Bench, the Front Entrance, and the Library Signpost. When they scan their phone at each location, green boxes appear to guide interaction. A tap reveals a lighthearted surprise and fills one of five discovery boxes on screen.

The experience is powered by WebAR and VPS (Visual Positioning System), allowing AR content to appear precisely in the real-world environment, right from the browser. No app required.
